Berkhamsted FC have snapped up a former Tottenham Hotspur youngster once dubbed as ‘the Irish Wayne Rooney.’

However, a series of injuries since then have seen Dixon tumble through the leagues, and he is now hoping to kick-start his career at Berkhamsted.

“He was once described as the Irish Wayne Rooney and he is a really nice guy,” said Berko boss Mick Vipond. “ We want to help him get back on track.”
