Football freestyle star Jay Rosa delighted fans at Watford FC during two festive fixtures in December, bringing skill, energy, and a strong message about mental health to the Hornets community.

On Saturday 6 December, ahead of the Watford vs Norwich City match, and again on Tuesday 9 December for the Watford vs Sheffield United fixture, Rosa attended the club’s fanzone, performing jaw-dropping freestyle routines and teaching young fans essential football skills. His interactive sessions gave children hands-on experience while also inspiring confidence and creativity on and off the pitch.

During both visits, Rosa also promoted his brand-new Football Freestyle Academy, set to launch in Watford on 5 January 2026. The academy will offer structured coaching sessions for youngsters, combining freestyle techniques with teamwork, discipline, and mental wellbeing exercises. It aims to nurture the next generation of football freestylers while emphasizing the importance of confidence, resilience, and positive mental health.

Since launching his EFL Stadium Tour in January 2023, Rosa has performed at over 70 stadiums across England, partnering with Mind Charity to raise awareness and funds for mental health initiatives. His tour is more than entertainment; it’s about connection, support, and reminding people they’re not alone, blending football skill with social impact.

Rosa’s engagement at Watford FC highlights the growing intersection of sport, community, and mental health advocacy. By combining freestyle entertainment with education and wellbeing, he’s creating opportunities for fans of all ages to enjoy football in a meaningful, inspiring way.

Fans and aspiring freestylers can follow Jay Rosa’s tour, pre-register for his Football Freestyle Academy, and support his mental health initiatives via @jayrosa1_ on social media or at jayrosa.com.
