Get Stuffed's pre-Edinburgh Festival - The Tringe - is back for its seventh year. The comedian's preview event of choice gives discerning comedy fans huge opportunities to see some of the greatest names in comedy.

Taking place between Sunday June 26 and Saturday July 16, Get Stuffed will present three weeks of previews showcasing some of the best acts around including Milton Jones, Jason Byrne and Seann Walsh.

As always, the programme of gigs mixes well known and established comedians with new and up and coming talent. And this year sees the launch of Tringe Club Night in addition to the hugely successful Roving Comedy Night and the all day Tringe Comedy Marathon.

Organiser Ben Moorhouse said: “It’s great to be back with out seventh Tringe Festival. I’m really proud at how this year’s line up has come together. With so many great shows, the highlight for me is ‘Showstopper! The Improvised Musical’. I was fortunate to get this booked only the day before they won an Oliver Award. If you can only see one show, make it this one.”

A full report of this act is on page 41.

The festival kicks off with Woody Allen ish and Tyrannosaurus Sketch on Sunday June 26, followed by the inaugural Club Night the following evening and Milton Jones and Tom Ward on Tuesday June 28.

The Roving Comedy Night is on Sunday July 3 with Silky, Paul B Edwards and Arthur Smith.

Cabaret Night is on Monday July 4 with Lili La Scala, Laurence Owen, Space Cowboy, Zoe L’Amore and Boy with Tape on his Face.

A full and detailed list of all acts can be found at where you can also buy passport tickets to give access to all shows, and single tickets for individual shows. Tickets can also be bought in person from Black Goo the coffee shop at the top of Tring High Street.

All the shows take place at the Court Theatre in Tring, with the exception of the Roving Comedy Night, and with more than half the festival tickets already sold, this year is shaping up to be the most successful yet.
