Peter Borg-Neal, Tring Community Rugby Trust chairman, said: “Paul is a strong leader who is committed to the one club model and I am confident that he is the right man to culturally embed the change processes put in place over the past few years.

“He has been working abroad in Hong Kong for the past three years and returns to the UK in November. Martin Walters will continue as interim chairman until Paul’s arrival, after which they will mutually agree a handover process.”

The club has also appointed three further trustees with immediate effect – John Hopson, Deric Newman and Charlotte West – while Borg-Neal has been elected as chairman of the Board of Trustees.

Borg-Neal added: “It’s a hugely exciting time to be part of Tring Rugby and I look forward to being able to share our journey with you in the coming months.”
