Hemel Old Town gets into Halloween spirit with a day of spooky fun
Hemel Old Town got into the Halloween spirit with a day of spooky fun on Sunday October 25.
Residents and visitors enjoyed a day of community activities and family fun, with businesses, traders, performers and community organisations helping create a lively atmosphere throughout the day.

Free activities in the Old Town Hall included a fancy dress competition, face-painting and cupcake decorating, while there were also popular Ghost Walking Tours and Creepy Crawly Experiences.
Businesses based in Hemel Old Town had a presence, welcoming visitors through the day, before a fireworks display brought the celebrations to a climax.
The day raised more than £600 for the Mayor’s Future Fund.
Reflecting on the day Dacorum Borough Council’s portfolio holder for people and transformation Caroline Smith-Wright said: ‘It was fantastic to see so many residents and visitors enjoying everything Hemel Old Town had to offer.
‘Events like this are about bringing communities together, supporting local businesses and creating memorable experiences for families.
“We'd like to thank everyone who attended, our partners who helped deliver the event, and CARDO Group for its valued support as headline sponsor.
‘Despite some challenging weather conditions, the community spirit on display throughout the day was exceptional."
