Charity: Good cause will collect your donations

National charity the Meningitis Trust is urging people to clear out their closets and donate unwanted clothing to support the thousands of meningitis victims.

The Trust’s corporate partner, BCR Global Textiles, has launched a new secure system where donators register to arrange a delivery of a recycling bag by post and once filled, will be collected from your home or workplace.

Ella Constable, corporate fundraiser for the Meningitis Trust, says: “The online recycling service is a fantastic way of clearing out your wardrobe. Not only does it give people a new way to recycle their unwanted clothing, but is also a way to raise vital funds towards our work.

“The Meningitis Trust supports more than 20,000 people every year. Without the backing from companies like BCR, our work to help these people to rebuild their lives following meningitis would not be possible.”

If you have any unwanted clothes and shoes, there is no need to take a trip down to the charity shop as BCR will collect at a time that suits you, just visit www.bcrmeningitistrust.co.uk to arrange a delivery.
