We are delighted to welcome Bill Coster who is a new speaker to our group, with a talk entitled ‘USA Bird Migration’. Bill will share with us the wonders of the migration of millions of birds, from cranes to hummingbirds.
Doors will open at 7.15pm, with the meeting starting at 7.45pm and finishing at around 9.45pm. As usual, there will be refreshments, raffle, displays of members’ photographs, local news, and other activities.

Our next outing is a car share trip on Saturday 14th November to the Millenium Country Park, Beds and the Floodplain Forest, Milton Keynes. The Country Park features three bird hides, with a café & toilet facilities. The Floodplain Forest, formerly a sand/gravel pit, is now periodically flooded by the Great Ouse.
A further outing will take place on Saturday 21st November with a coach trip to RSPB Frampton Marsh in Lincolnshire. This is a joint trip with the RSPB Watford Local Group, but with a convenient second 'pick up' at Gadebridge Park & Ride.
Details can be found on our website.
