Discover the Future of Tech at Code Ninjas Hemel Hempstead

Local families are invited to a free Discovery Afternoon on Saturday 12 September, offering a hands-on glimpse into how children across Hemel Hempstead are learning to code, create and thrive in a technology-driven world.

Hosted at Code Ninjas Hemel Hempstead, Marlowes Shopping Centre, the event will give families the opportunity to see how young people are developing the digital, creative and problem-solving skills to prepare them for the careers of tomorrow.

With artificial intelligence and emerging technologies rapidly transforming almost every industry, high-quality STEM education has never been more important. Code Ninjas believes children should be empowered to become confident creators of technology, rather than simply consumers of it.

During the free event, visitors can see local children building their own video games, explore coding and game development, and discover how AI is becoming part of the learning experience. Families will also be able to meet the Code Ninjas team and find out more about its ISTE-accredited curriculum, developed in partnership with Microsoft®.

The Discovery Afternoon will also mark the launch of new AI and Machine Learning projects for the upcoming school year, giving children the chance to explore cutting-edge technology through engaging, age-appropriate projects.

Parents at the centre have praised the programme for helping their children grow in confidence as well as technical ability, with one describing Code Ninjas as a “fun, engaging” club where their child has learned while building confidence. Another parent simply said: “My son loves it! His favourite club of the week.”
