Dacorum Citizens Advice takes advice into local communities with new outreach sessions
Are you struggling with the Cost of Living; managing your bills, have a housing problem or unsure if you're receiving everything you're entitled to? New Herts County Council funding under the Crisis Resilience Fund has enabled Dacorum Citizens Advice to launch two new outreach weekly sessions, providing residents with advice across a wide range of issues etc....

The charity, which supports thousands of people across Dacorum every year, is expanding its face-to-face outreach so that residents can access advice closer to home.
The new weekly sessions are designed to make it easier for local residents to get help with problems that can sometimes feel difficult or overwhelming.
Dacorum Citizens Advice can provide support across a wide range of issues, including housing and renting, benefits, debt and money problems, employment, consumer issues and the cost of living.
Angela Fox CEO at Dacorum Citizens Advice said: “We know that for some people, getting into an advice office isn't always easy. By taking our service out into local communities, we can make it easier for people to access the help they need at an earlier stage.
Our aim is to be where people are – in the community spaces they already know and use. Whether someone has a housing problem, is struggling financially, needs help understanding their benefits or simply isn't sure where to turn, we want them to know that Dacorum Citizens Advice is there for them.”
The outreach programme is also intended to strengthen links with local community organisations, allowing Dacorum Citizens Advice to reach people who may not otherwise seek advice.
Residents can attend the weekly sessions for free, independent and confidential advice and no appointment is needed.
