Dacorum to host tapings of popular Saturday night show The Masked Singer
Hertfordshire is set to once again host recordings for the latest season of The Masked Singer.
In September, the ITV programme will be recorded at the Bovingdon Airfield studios and tickets for the event are free.
Currently, the UK-version of the international singing show is set to be filmed in Hertfordshire on September 24, September 29, October 7 and October 9.
Episodes filmed this month and next will be aired on ITV1 to prime time Saturday night audiences in January of next year.

Previous seasons have seen some of the world’s best singers don silly outfits and take on larger than life personas. The Masked Singer has also seen unlikely celebrities take to the stage and produce memorable renditions of forever popular songs.
Former contestants include: Joss Stone, McFly’s Danny Jones, and Sir Lenny Henry. The Masked Singer is preparing for its eighth season to air across the UK and this year’s programme will be adding Alan Carr as a panelist.
Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan, Maya Jama and Jonathan Ross are all confirmed as returning judges, but the upcoming format will see the Celebrity Traitors champion put together his own group of sleuths to battle the established judges and see who can identify the most singers in disguise.
Stacey Solomon is the one celebrity confirmed as joining ‘team Carr’ for the upcoming season. More wildcard judges will be revealed at the Hertfordshire tapings.
Alan said: “I can’t wait to play detective - so excited to be shouting ‘take it off’ in the actual studio rather than on my settee at home. A dream come true.”
