Six golds and seven silvers for the Berko masters trio

Berkhamsted SC trio Rachel Barber, Sian MacDonald and Mark Strakosch returned to The Venue in Borehamwood for the Herts Masters Championships on Saturday.

The meet began with the 100m IM which saw both Rachel and Mark set PBs and claim silver medals, while Sian took the first of her gold medals.

Mark and Rachel were straight back up in the 50m backstroke, with Rachel second again and Mark gaining his first gold.

The successes continued in the breaststroke, with Sian claiming another gold alongside Mark and Rachel having to settle for a third successive silver.

In the fly both Mark and Rachel gained silver again before both of them picked up gold in the final event, with Sian settling for silver.
