Manny makes his mark as Kings strike at the death

Kings Langley full-back Manny Folarin netted a last minute equaliser to salvage a 3-3 draw against Hanwell Town in Saturday's Southern League Division 1 Central clash at Gaywood Park.

After last week’s heroics against table-toppers Rushden & Diamonds, Kings could have been forgiven for thinking Hanwell would represent a less demanding challenge given their modest league position.

That perception was quickly dispelled as Hanwell pressed from the off and took the lead on 14 minutes when Bradley Simmonds spotted Kings keeper Xavi Comas off his line and fired a beautifully executed lob into the net from all of 50 yards.

The spectacular opener stung the hosts into action and David Hutton restored parity 10 minutes later as he turned smartly in the box to rifle an unstoppable drive into the top corner of the net.

Kings were now in the ascendancy and, within two minutes, thyey took the lead through the lively Matt Bateman.

However, Hanwell struck back as Tom Hunt cut in from the left and unleashed a blistering volley which beat the despairing Comas all ends up.

It was the visitors wo went aheadin the 65th minute when Kings were left appealing in vain for offside from a free-kick on the right, with Danilson Vicente leff to force the ball home.

Desperate not to be beaten, Kings pressed for an equaliser, and it duly arrived on 90 minutes. Following an almighty scramble, Folarin forced the ball towards goal, with assistant referee Jon Panconi ruling that the ball had crossed the line.
