Watford FC fan Nic Cruwys is '˜doing well', say family
Nic Cruwys, 45, suffered serious head injuries following an attack in Little’s Lane, Wolverhampton, on March 7 last year after he and his friends watched Watford play Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The milkman, from Gadebridge, Hemel Hempstead, spent three-and-a-half months recovering in hospital before being allowed home to his family in June last year.

Jodie, who is mum to Talia, six, and two-year-old Harley, said: “These two charities have been vitally instrumental in supporting my family and saving Nic’s life. I want to raise as much money as possible.”
Speaking about her husband’s recovery, she said: “Nic is doing really well. He’s desperate to get back to work, but we’re waiting to hear back from the DVLA.
“If he can start driving again that will give him more independence.
