David Lloyd, police and crime commissioner for Herts
David Lloyd, Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire, has confirmed he will stand for re-election next year.

Local Conservative s chose himas their candidate on Thursday evening.

Mr Lloyd was first elected to the £75,000 per year role in 2012, which sees him oversee policing across the county. The chief constable answers to Mr Lloyd.

The election will take place on May 5.
