The team at Amazon in Hemel Hempstead is joining in the festive cheer in the run up to Christmas with a two-month-long series of activities, fun events and special surprises.

Racing simulators, Deal or No Deal, a FIFA 20 competition, a DJ playing some top tunes, a fancy dress competition and retro arcade games are just some of the activities ongoing at the fulfilment centre.

Speaking on the fun events, Amazon’s Hemel Hempstead site leader, Shauli Ziv, said: “Christmas is a really exciting time of the year at Amazon and there’s no better way to celebrate than by having two months of fun with our team.

"My favourite events have been the fancy dress competition and the old school arcade games. This has been a brilliant year for our team and it’s great to end it with lots of festive cheer.”

The building opened in September 2012 and is the size of around 5 football pitches.

More than 500 permanent employees work at the fulfilment centre and more than 1000 seasonal workers join before Christmas to help meet customer promise.
