Herts lifesavers receive vital new equipment
A group of volunteer life-savers have received a welcome boost of vital new equipment from a bookshop club in Hemel Hempstead.
The new CFR equipment, bought by The Lions Club in May last year from fundraising at the club’s shop in the Marlowes Shopping Centre, was formally presented to the community first responder (CFR) group.
Steve Davey, of the East of England Ambulance Service, said: “It is greatly encouraging to see such a valued contribution be donated to the Hemel CFR group, my thanks to The Lions Club and also to all EEAST CFRS for all the great work they do.”
