British Heart Foundation

Oh yes you can volunteer! There is so much you can do at this friendly charity shop and you’ll be helping to raise funds for the charity’s lifesaving research.

From sorting jewellery and bric a brac to welcoming customers and helping the shop to look its best, we need your help.

One or two lovely volunteers are needed to come and join in the fun at this weekly playgroup.

We have a special lady who runs this friendly group for toddlers from birth to school age; however she needs some help with setting up equipment, packing away, taking money, making tea and providing a comfortable and happy environment for mothers and toddlers.

“The Little Hoppers” runs on a Monday and Wednesday morning, three hours a day. All those gurgles and giggles, how can you resist?

The Twins Club is looking for a volunteer to help run their playgroup on Tuesday mornings.

The club meets at Sacred Heart Church Hall, Park Street, Berkhamsted and runs from 9.45am to 11.45am.

A volunteer is needed to set up, run and close up the group. You would also be helping to look after the children and offer support to new mums arriving at the club. Lower age limit 18 years.
