Coronavirus latest: No new confirmed cases in Dacorum

There have been no new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Dacorum, the total for the borough is still 534, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There have been five new cases in Hertfordshire, there are now 4,340 cases in the county.

Previous data shared by Public Health England relied solely on Pillar 1 (testing from Public Health England and NHS Hospital Trusts), but as of Thursday, July 2, the information includes Pillar 2 (non-clinical and commercial testing).

It has seen a radical overhaul of how coronavirus infection data is presented across the country, with hundreds of new cases emerging in individual authorities.

The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic of people who had had a positive test result for COVID-19 in Dacorum is 104.

There have been 308,134 lab-confirmed cases in the UK, rising by 950.

The number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths has been recorded as 46,413, rising by 49 (deaths of people who have had a positive test result) - according to Public Health England.

The number of deaths are people who have had a positive test result confirmed by a Public Health or NHS laboratory.

The figures for the number of patients recovered from COVID-19 have not been released by Public Health England.

The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Tuesday, August 4, and 5pm on Wednesday, August 5.
