Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records 17 new cases today

There have been 17 new positive Covid-19 tests recorded in Dacorum over the past 24 hours.
The total for the borough is now 1,439, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.

There has been one new recorded death in Dacorum, the total is now 105. There have been 907 deaths in Hertfordshire since the start of the pandemic, according to Public Health England.
Nationally, the number of coronavirus cases has risen by 23,287 and now stands at 1,146,484.
The latest R number is estimated at 1.1 to 1.3 with a daily growth rate range of +2% to +4%.
The number of deaths has risen by 355 to 48,475.

Hide AdThe death toll has been 'recalculated' by officials. The new count is based on a new definition of who has died from Covid-19.
Previously, people in England who died at any stage following a positive test, regardless of the cause of their death, were counted in the figures.
However, there is now a cut off point of 28 days from the first laboratory-confirmed positive COVID test.
The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.
