Coronavirus latest: Dacorum records 15 new confirmed cases

There have been 15 new positive Covid-19 tests in Dacorum in the last 24 hours, the total for the borough is now 790, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
There were 107 new cases in Hertfordshire, the total is now 6,460.

Hide AdThere have been no new deaths of patients testing positive for Covid-19 in Dacorum or Hertfordshire. The total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic of people who had a positive test result for COVID-19 and died within 28 days of the first positive test in Dacorum remains at 94, in Hertfordshire it is 860 deaths.
There have been 515,571 lab-confirmed cases in the UK, rising by 12,594.
The number of COVID-19 associated UK deaths has been recorded as 42,369, rising by 19, - according to Public Health England.
Nationally, the death toll has been 'recalculated' by officials. The new count is based on a new definition of who has died from Covid-19.

Hide AdPreviously, people in England who died at any stage following a positive test, regardless of the cause of their death, were counted in the figures.
However, there is now a cut off point of 28 days from the first laboratory-confirmed positive COVID test.
The figures for the number of patients recovered from Covid-19 have not been released by Public Health England.
The new figures were recorded between 5pm on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4.
