The Sunday Times singled out the nation’s top 500 secondary schools in its recently published 2020 guide and 25 schools were in Hertfordshire - including The Hemel Hempstead School - an impressive five per cent of the UK total.
The schools were ranked by performance according to the results of their A-Level and GCSE examinations taken in the summer of 2019.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to applaud the fantastic efforts of all our schools who work so hard to ensure each child reaches their potential.
