Hemel Hempstead man crowned regional winner in national Heating Installer Awards

A man from Hemel Hempstead has taken the top prize for the South East in this year’s national Heating Installer Awards

Ryan Cole was crowned the winner by a panel of industry experts after a day of judging earlier this month, and he will now go through to the national final.

He impressed the judges with his professionalism, commitment to taking on challenges and dedication to customer satisfaction.

The awards scheme, now in its sixth year, recognises the achievements and raises the credibility of plumbers and heating installers across the country who deliver excellent customer service on a daily basis.

Representatives from the awards’ partners, Armacell, CIPHE, Danfoss, LG and Polypipe and as well as media partner Installer magazine, judged the entries on problem solving, product knowledge and stand out work.

The panel was also joined by the 2021 Heating Installer Awards winner, Phil Metcalfe.

Speaking of his win, Ryan said: “I am over the moon the have achieved this award and I am blown away by the support I have received since it was announced.

"I am really looking forward to the next stages of the competition and wish everyone the best of luck!“

Voting closes at the end of August. Your vote will contribute to the public vote which will make up a third of Ryan’s overall score, alongside the judges’ scores and the scores from a technical challenge set for all 12 regional and highly commended winners.

The winner will be announced on September 28, at Installer2021, the UK’s national plumbing and heating show.
