The latest accolade places the organisation among a select group of elite care providers who have not only reached the top of their field but have consistently remained there. Judges praised VIP Day Centre for its innovation, quality of service, and the meaningful impact it continues to have on the lives of people living with dementia, sensory impairments and disabilities.

This year’s award follows on from previous successes, including the organisation’s 2025 Award of Excellence, highlighting a rare achievement of consecutive wins—something described as “very rare” by the awarding body.

Founded by care professional Natalie Allcock, VIP Day Centre was born out of personal experience. After witnessing firsthand the lack of affordable, meaningful support available to her own family member living with dementia, she set out to create a service that would allow people to remain in their own homes while staying connected, active and socially engaged.

Since then, VIP Day Centre has grown into a multi-location provider, with centres across Bromsgrove, Redditch, Worcester, Prestwich, Bradford and Royston, delivering high-quality, person-centred day care in welcoming community environments.

At the heart of the service is a simple but powerful philosophy: care should not just keep people safe—it should enrich lives. Members are supported to take part in activities tailored to their interests and abilities, helping to maintain independence, boost self-esteem and improve overall quality of life.

The centres also place a strong emphasis on wellbeing, offering nutritious home-cooked meals and achieving a five-star food hygiene rating—further evidence of their commitment to excellence.

Industry experts point to VIP’s unwavering standards, passionate team and innovative approach as key factors behind its continued success. “These awards are no accident,” the judging panel noted, highlighting the organisation’s consistent drive to deliver something different and exceptional within the care sector.

For families, the impact is deeply personal. VIP Day Centre provides not only essential support for those attending, but also vital respite and reassurance for carers—bridging the gap between home care and residential services.

As the organisation celebrates over a decade of continuous recognition, it shows no signs of slowing down. With a clear mission to expand and bring its model of care to more communities, VIP Day Centre continues to set the benchmark for what modern, compassionate day care should look like.
