Three little pigs steal the show at Northchurch pub's family fun day

Three adorable miniature pigs proved to be the star attraction when a Hertfordshire pub welcomed families for a day of animal encounters, live music and food.

Theo, Ellie and Wilma, from Kew Little Pigs Farm, delighted visitors at The George and Dragon in Northchurch during its Summer Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 22.

The sociable trio travelled to the pub in their very own specially designed “pig mobile” before taking part in playful meet-and-greet sessions with visitors.

Families were given the chance to interact with the friendly pigs, who happily soaked up the attention and enjoyed making new friends throughout the successful event.

The afternoon also featured live music from Jacob Morgan and John Knowles, while guests tucked into food from Boomting Pizza and Well Nice Fish n Chips, as well as ice cream and sweets from Sammy’s Sweets.

Olivia Mikhail, owner of Kew Little Pigs Farm, said: “Theo, Ellie and Wilma absolutely loved meeting all the families at The George and Dragon.

“They are naturally curious, friendly pigs and really enjoy being at the heart of the action. It was wonderful to see so many children and adults spending time with them, learning a little more about pigs and discovering just how affectionate and intelligent they can be.
“The event was a brilliant success and the pigs returned home very happy after receiving so much attention.”
