Taylor Wimpey North Thames Site Managers named as among the UK’s best
“We are committed to consistently delivering high-quality homes and excellent customer service”
Taylor Wimpey North Thames Site Managers, Harvey Scott, Sam Clarke, and Jason Dear, have been named as among the best in the UK after winning a prestigious Pride in the Job 2026 Quality Award from the National House-Building Council (NHBC).

The award recognises Harvey, Site Manager at The Tramworks in North Finchley, Sam, Site Manager at Stortford Fields in Hoddesdon and Jason, Site Manager at Bovingdon Grange Meadows in Bovingdon, for their outstanding work at their developments and their commitment to excellence in site management and build quality.
Widely considered the ‘Oscars’ of the house-building industry, Pride in the Job celebrates site managers’ dedication to raising standards, showcasing best practice and rewarding excellence. Judging is rigorous, with thousands of assessments taking place across 7,500 sites. Only 450 people have been selected as winners, placing Harvey, Sam and Jason firmly within the top six per cent of site managers across the UK.

Harvey said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won our first Pride in the Job award as a team here at The Tramworks, there has been a lot of hard work and dedication involved to reach and also maintain an excellent standard of quality. This is a testament to all involved and their drive for excellence, we will build on this success and continue to deliver quality homes.”
Ben Smith, Production Director at Taylor Wimpey North Thames, said: “We are committed to consistently delivering high-quality homes and excellent customer service, and this recognition reflects those standards. This is a fantastic achievement for Harvey, Sam, and Jason, and we’re very proud of the teams at The Tramworks, Stortford Fields and Bovingdon Grange Meadows.”
Cassandra Codling, Senior Regional Director at NHBC said: “Congratulations to Harvey, Sam and Jason who have demonstrated incredible dedication, passion, commitment and leadership to produce homes of exceptional quality. The judges look for site managers who go beyond strong performance and demonstrate qualities that lift a good site manager to an exceptional one.
“The competition is at the heart of NHBC’s core purpose to raise standards in house building. It inspires site managers to make their mark on the industry, earning the respect of their peers and leaving a legacy of homes built to the highest quality standards.”
The Quality Award winners will now go on to compete for Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards in the autumn, with the national Supreme Award winners to be unveiled in January 2027.
