Taylor Wimpey gives a ‘thank you’ to healthcare staff this International Nurses’ Day
This International Nurses’ Day, Taylor Wimpey North Thames has extended its gratitude to healthcare professionals across four hospitals in Hertfordshire and North Finchley by delivering over 200 cupcakes to nurses and staff to say thank you for their hard work and dedication.
Taking place every year on 12th May, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, International Nurses’ Day celebrates and raises awareness of the work nurses do around the world.
Taylor Wimpey’s donation is part of its ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities that surround its developments. The hospitals to receive the sweet treats were Finchley Memorial Hospital, Watford General Hospital, St Albans City Hospital and Hemel Hempstead Hospital.
Alison Rosen, CEO of West Herts Hospitals Charity, the official charity for West Herts Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, said: "We are incredibly grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their kind gesture in providing cupcakes for our nursing staff to celebrate International Nurses’ Day.
