Residents invited to help shape Hertfordshire's energy future as households face rising energy costs

The feedback will help inform future community energy initiatives and projects that aim to deliver local benefits for local people.

Energy prices continue to be affected by global events, leaving many households and businesses feeling the impact. At Grand Union Community Energy (GUCE), we believe local communities should have a voice in shaping solutions that can help reduce energy costs, strengthen energy resilience and ensure the benefits of locally generated renewable energy stay within the community.

That's why we're inviting people aged 18+ who live, work or study in Watford, Three Rivers or Dacorum to take part in a series of community workshops this July.

We're keen to hear from a wide range of people about their experiences of energy, sustainability and what matters most to them. The feedback will help inform future community energy initiatives and projects that aim to deliver local benefits for local people.

No specialist knowledge or experience is needed—just your perspective.

As a thank you for taking part, participants will receive a £25 food voucher. Refreshments will be provided, and children are welcome.

We currently have places available and would be incredibly grateful if you could help us raise awareness by featuring the workshops as a community news item or online listing. We'd love to ensure the workshops reflect the diversity of our local communities.
