Popular Hemel Hempstead pub to close for major transformation
The Marchmont Arms in Piccotts End, Hemel Hempstead, part of the Premium Country Pub Collection, is closing on Monday 20th April to undergo a significant nearly 4-week renovation, delivering a country pub experience worthy of Piccotts End locals.
Nestled amongst the idyllic countryside on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead, The Marchmont Arms is the beautifully converted former London home of Lord Marchmont. Designed to become guests’ go-to destination for relaxed indulgence. The newly reimagined venue will blend the timeless charm of a country pub with a modern, elegant look.
Following reopening on Friday 15th May with a launch party the pub will continue to be the perfect venue for cosy catchups, leisurely dining, and those memorable moments you share with friends and family.
As part of the refurbishment, guests can look forward to an exciting range of carefully considered updates to The Marchmont Arms when it reopens, including a refreshed three-tiered beer garden, complete with festoon lighting and sofas and an updated function room perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, conferences and work events.
Once reopened, food will be at the heart of the experience, with a menu carefully crafted by expert chefs using quality, seasonal ingredients to create comforting classics and elevated favourites that Hemel Hempstead locals will be sure to fall in love with.
From Monday to Thursday, there will be a fixed-price Weeknight Escape menu with two courses from £22.95 or three courses from £27.95. Meanwhile, for those seeking lighter bites and classic flavours with a modern twist, The Marchmont Arms will offer a set lunch menu Monday to Friday from 12pm-5pm with two courses from £21.95 and three courses from £25.95. Guests will also be able to raise a glass or two with 2-for-£16 cocktails available all-day Monday to Friday.
