Our Manager, Mr. Russell Sharp, warmly welcomed the Deputy Mayor at the entrance and gave her a tour of the home. During her visit, she had the opportunity to see our facilities and visit the Montrose Art Gallery, where we proudly display paintings created by our residents.

As part of this special occasion, our residents presented the Deputy Mayor with one of their paintings, created here at Montrose, as a gift for Watford Town Hall. It was a particularly meaningful moment for our artistic residents, who were very proud to share their work with the local community.

The visit took place during our summer barbecue and painting exhibition, which brought together our residents, families, friends and staff. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with live music, good food, friendship and fellowship.

From everyone at Montrose Care Home, we would like to express our sincere thanks to Councillor Aga Dychton for taking the time to visit us and for making the occasion so special. We very much enjoyed welcoming her to Montrose and hope to maintain our connection with her and the Watford community in the future.
