Hemel Lions help the Gaddesden Row Guide Centre

When two of our Lions visited the Gaddesden Row Guide Centre a few weeks back, they were impressed with the work being carried out to improve the premises. On Sunday the 10th of May, we presented a cheque for £5,000 to assist them in their task and propel them toward their £30,000 target.

Many guides in the future will benefit from the improved facilities and we the Lions were very glad to be able to support them in this venture.

President Brian, was joined by Lions Barbara,, Frances, Lorraine, Richard and Terry to carry out the pleasurable task.

The Hemel Hempstead Lions are always looking for new members who enjoy giving assistance to the local community . If interested please contact Terry at [email protected] or come for a chat and coffee in the Lions bookshop Marlowe's centre, Tuesday afternoon, Thursday Mornings.
