David Taylor MP announces winner of Hemel Hempstead’s Best Chippy Awards 2026

Following a public vote, David Taylor MP, Member of Parliament for Hemel Hempstead, has announced Mario’s Fish & Chips as the winner of the Hemel Hempstead Fish & Chip Awards 2026, marking National Fish & Chip Day (Friday 5th June) and celebrating the outstanding local takeaways that form a backbone of the community.

The awards saw votes cast by local constituents. To guarantee fairness, strict residency checks were applied to ensure that only verified, unique votes from residents within the Hemel Hempstead constituency were counted.
