Charity Golf Day raises £16,000 for Herts Young Homeless
Local developer Croudace Homes hosted a charity golf day at Manor of Groves Golf Club, Hertfordshire, in support of Herts Young Homeless (HYH), a local charity working to prevent youth homelessness in Hertfordshire.

Founded in 1998, HYH provides vital services to prevent youth homelessness in Hertfordshire through education, advice, and support for young people and their families. In 2025 alone, the charity directly supported 900 young people facing homelessness.
On the golf day, over 100 players, including employees from Croudace Homes and colleagues from the Supply Chain, participated in the competition, raising a total sum of £16,000.

The funds raised will support HYH’s vision of ensuring every young person has a safe home to grow and thrive. This could include a range of support such as outreach and counselling sessions, essential home items as well as deposits and rent in advance for private rented accommodation.
Jonny Whitehead, CEO of Herts Young Homeless, responded: “This generous sum raised by Croudace Homes will go a long way in supporting our mission to prevent youth homelessness here at Herts Young Homeless. We will be able to help more young people stay safely at home, provide crisis support when there is nowhere else to turn and support 18-25 year olds through key transitions to independence.”
Karly Williams, Managing Director at Croudace North Thames, commented: “This was a brilliant opportunity to bring our team together to support a local cause. At Croudace Homes, it’s important that we not only deliver high-quality, much-needed homes but also ensure that we are doing what we can to support the local community.”
Croudace Homes is currently building developments in Hertfordshire, including Warwick Place in Cheshunt and Weavers Gate in Hitchin.
