Carer's 20 years service celebrated with Mayor of Dacorum

Gold Care Homes’ Hemel Hempstead-based care home, Queensway House on Jupiter Drive, has marked a significant milestone as long-serving carer Susan Crouch was recognised for 20 years of dedicated service.
The occasion was celebrated with a surprise party for the residents and staff at Queensway House, made even more special by a visit from the Mayor of Dacorum, Councillor Garrick Stevens. It was a chance for everyone to come together and recognise Susan’s commitment and contribution to the home over the past two decades.
Susan was presented with a spectacular bouquet of flowers from Amanda Jane Florist, a celebratory cake which had a picture of her with a resident turned into an illustration, a certificate, and gifts from both Gold Care Homes and the Queensway House team as a token of appreciation. The celebration reflected the high regard in which she is held by her colleagues and residents.
Speaking about the milestone, Susan Crouch said, “I feel incredibly proud to have been part of the Queensway House family for the past 20 years. It has been a privilege to care for so many wonderful residents and to work alongside such dedicated colleagues. Watching the home grow, while being able to make a positive difference each day, has been the most rewarding part of my career. I’m grateful for all the memories, friendships, and support over the years, and I look forward to many more.”
