Calling all monster hunters
The Marlowes Shopping Centre is Set to Host a Day of Mischief and Mystery with Free Family Event.
Parents looking for the ultimate free day out to kickstart the school holidays need look no further. The Marlowes Shopping Centre has announced it will become home to the Monster Hunters Academy on Saturday 25th July, hosting what promises to be one of the biggest free family events in Hemel Hempstead this summer.

Guaranteed to bring a day of mischief, creativity, and interactive entertainment, the event will see a team of everyone’s favourite mischievous yellow characters descend on the shopping centre between 11am and 4pm to help children become official, certified Monster Hunters for the day.
An Interactive Centre-Wide Adventure

The completely free event features a packed schedule of activities designed to encourage exploration of the whole shopping centre while creating unforgettable family memories:
The Monster Hunt Trail: Families can embark on an exciting centre-wide quest to discover hidden creatures throughout the shopping centre, with a special prize waiting for everyone who completes the challenge.
Meet the Characters: Everyone’s favourite goggle-wearing assistants will be making multiple live appearances throughout the day, offering plenty of opportunities for families to grab photos and high-fives.
Creative 'Monster Lab' Workshops: Hands-on, imaginative workshops where kids can design their own monsters, craft monster masks, and get messy with gooey slime activities.
Monster Makeovers & Photo Ops: Children can head to the transformation stations for monster makeovers and face painting, alongside a dedicated dress-up corner and selfie experiences to capture memories of the day.
The Warm-Up Trail Starts Early

The fun starts before the main event with a week-long Monster Hunt Trail running throughout the shopping centre. Launching on Saturday 18th July, this preview trail gives families another brilliant reason to visit and hunt down hidden creatures before the Monster Hunters Academy officially arrives.
Vicki-Lea Workman, Business Manager at Marlowes Shopping Centre, commented: "We are incredibly excited to bring the Monster Hunters Academy to Hemel Hempstead for what promises to be one of the town's biggest free summer events yet. We’ve put together an action-packed, interactive day that lets kids unleash their creativity and sense of adventure. Best of all, every single activity is completely free to enjoy, helping families create unforgettable summer memories together without worrying about the cost."
No pre-booking is required for the Monster Hunters Academy, and all activities are free to join on a first-come, first-served basis.
