Berko Fields headline act reveals links to Hemel
Berko Fields Festival lands in Hertfordshire this weekend, and Friday night headliner, DJ and viral sensation Fish56Octagon, has revealed that he worked in Hemel Hempstead in his past life. The DJ, who became famous after a series of viral videos where he discussed his love of dance music while eating dry Weetabix and dressed in his dressing gown, remains very secretive about his past, but in a promo video made for Berko Fields, he revealed his very specific connection to Hertfordshire, even naming the road in Hemel Hempstead where he used to work as Maylands Avenue.
Not much is known about Fish56Octagon's life before he became a DJ. He prefers to keep the focus on his love of music, so fans will be interested to hear him reveal this detail from his life before DJing. He gives no more information in the video but says this is why he’s looking forward to coming back to the area for Berko Fields.
In the same promo video shoot, Fish56Octagon refers to the huge 400-drone aerial display that will take off towards the end of his set, with a tongue-in-cheek claim that he will be creating a record for “most drones in the sky, making a DJ logo, during a performance… in Hertfordshire!”
Berko Fields promises to be an exciting new festival for Hertfordshire, with DJs, music, entertainment, food from local traders and a fully stocked bar, from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September. Aside from Fish56Octagon on Friday, Saturday brings BBC Radio 1 superstar Danny Howard to the turntables, followed by the Symphonica Orchestra playing Ibiza Classics. Sunday is the turn of Raver Tots for a family affair starring So Solid Crew, Artful Dodger, Lisa Maffia and more.
Both Friday and Saturday nights are topped off with a spectacular 400-drone aerial display choreographed to the music.
