Inflatable theme park heads to Berkhamsted for limited time only

A giant inflatable theme park is set to temporarily pop up in Berkhamsted this summer.

It has been revealed that BounceCamp is unveiling a large inflatable attraction in the town between August 4-6.

BounceCamp’s theme park, which is described as one of the largest of its kind in the region, will be created in Ashlyns School on Chesham Road next week.

Organisers say the theme park has been designed for children, families, friendship groups and special events, it features: giant inflatable obstacle courses, mega slides, bouncy castles and interactive games in one organised event.

BounceCamp says sessions are timed to avoid overcrowding. Its founder, Ashley James, added: “We wanted to create an event where families can spend quality time together, stay active and enjoy something a little different during the school holidays. Berkhamsted is a fantastic location and we're looking forward to welcoming visitors from the town and the surrounding areas."

Whilst the theme park is in town food and refreshment stalls will be set up on the school grounds. BounceCamp advises that activities are overseen by trained staff and all equipment is tested prior to the sessions.

BounceCamp also runs events in neighbouring counties including: Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

Sessions are limited to three-hour blocks but extensions can be booked at a discount, the activity company advises. Among the food that will be available for next week’s events are burgers, marinated chicken, and snacks.

Further information around ticketing and theme park features can be found on the BounceCamp website here.
