Dance under hundreds of drones to top DJs at new Berkhamsted festival
House music, Ibiza classics and family fun are in store at the first Berko Fields
Three days of music, dancing and entertainment await at a new festival taking place in Berkhamsted next month.

The event, called Berko Fields, runs from Friday September 11 to Sunday September 13, with each day having a distinctive identity.
House music dominates on the Friday with headliners Fish56Octagon and DJ SKT, while the Saturday centres on Symphonica Orchestra performing Ibiza Classics and a DJ set from BBC Radio 1's Danny Howard. And on the Sunday, there’s a family-focused event from Raver Tots, headlined by So Solid Crew and Artful Dodger.
Festivalgoers will also be treated to an aerial display from 400 drones choreographed to the music during the headline sets on the Friday and Saturday. The drones will create unique 3D shapes and images that will shift and evolve, promising a unique multi-sensory experience.
Speaking about the drone display, a spokesperson for the festival said: “At Berko Fields, set against the natural darkness of the Chilterns and in the company of thousands of people already fully immersed in the music, the effect is spectacular - a collision of light, sound and open sky that will deliver two of the most talked about headline sets of this summer.
"People will travel from far and wide to experience the drone extravaganza alone, but add this extra dimension to a world-class lineup of electronic music, a family-focused finale on Sunday and a carefully curated street food line-up, with local traders spanning everything from smashed burgers to sourdough pizza, and you have the most ambitious and unmissable new festival in the region. Berko Fields is now a weekender that sets a new benchmark for festivals in the Chilterns and beyond.”
Berko Fields takes place at Berkhamsted Cricket Club in Castle Hill. The drone show begins at 10.10pm on the Friday and Saturday and runs for 12 minutes. Visit www.berkofields.co.uk to book or for more information.
