A winning week for the Berkhamsted sides as momentum continues to build
The men’s 4s beat Hertford 5-2 with an eventful game for Man of the Match Tim Duncan who scored, then went to A&E after receiving an injury to his chin.
The men’s 3s, meanwhile, beat Broxbourne 4-1 with an outstanding team performance - goals coming from Will Hanley, Ollie Johnson, Amish Odedra and Jeremy Steed.

On the ladies’ side of the club, the second XI got back to winning ways with a dominant performance against Bedford. The 4-0 win sees them go top of the league, three points clear of Stevenage.
The ladies’ 1s were very below par in their local derby against Tring, but they still managed a 2-2 draw, while the men’s 1s earned a 2-2 draw against top of the table Wapping. If it wasn’t for a debatable equaliser at the end, Berko would have secured a deserved victory.
In action elsewhere, the ladies’ 4s played out a thrilling 5-5 draw against Welwyn Garden City. Goals came from Kate Goodwyn (2), Lizzie Clouston, Emma Simmonds and Ruby Lloyd.
