West Herts girls hit back to earn a draw

West Herts U14 girls came back from behind twice to record a 2-2 draw with Milton Keynes.

All of the West Herts girls showed great spirit and, despite conceding an early goal from a penalty corner, their heads never dropped.

At the back, Imani Bailey controlled the defence and mopped up several attacks.

West Herts equalized with a goal from Nicole Poole, but the girls ended the first half 2-1 down.

With a slight change to formation, the second half proved a more even affair and the girls linked well.

They were unlucky not to score from a penalty corner but their efforts were later rewarded with a goal from Emily Kilbane.

Players of the match were Jemima Dawkins and Nicole Poole.
