Tring starlet Cole James impresses at the junior nationals
The level of training and commitment required just to meet the qualifying times demonstrates Cole’s dedication to the sport, and as expected he was up against some top class competition.
Cole swam a brilliant heat to get through to the final of the 200m breaststroke – a fine achievement in itself – before producing a 4.5 second personal best in the final to finish eighth overall.

Both Tring Swimming Club and Hatfield Swimming Club were delighted with the effort put in by their dual representative.
This will give Cole extra motivation for even bigger things in the future.
