Tring runners impress at Chiltern League meet

Tring Running Club finished 10th overall out of 14 in Division One of the Chiltern League meet at Keysoe.

The club fielded one junior runner, Samuel Fielding, and notable displays came from Lynda Hembury and Alison Harding who were second and third in their category.

Paul Allen finished as second M50, followed closely by Steve long (fourth) and Keith Preedy (fifth).

Young guns Stephen and Dom had their first outing at U20 level, having just moved out of the U17 category, and both did the club proud.

Ladies’ team captain Mary Ward said: “A great day was had by all and the team spirit was palpable.”
