Stags draw Oxford in third round of the Challenge Cup
Hemel Stags have been handed a home draw against Oxford RLFC in the third round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.
The third round draw saw the 14 Kingstone Press League 1 clubs enter the fray for rugby league’s oldest and most prestigious knockout competition.
The draw took place at the University of Huddersfield and was conducted by three-time Challenge Cup winner Alex Murphy MBE and Malcolm Reilly OBE – a Challenge Cup winner as a player and coach with Castleford.
The final will be played at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, August 29 – 120 years to the day since rugby league was founded.
