Storm remain undefeated with win over Hurricanes
After a close first half, which saw the visitors claw back an 11-point deficit to trail by just two going into half time, Storm were able to muster crucial scoring runs, which proved pivotal going into the closing stages of the game.

Hide AdStorm started with purpose in the opening quarter, leading 8-0 in the first two minutes, but Hurricanes were able to respond effectively, with three pointers from Taylor and top scorer Ubiaro.
Storm then went on another 8-0 scoring run to end the quarter 25-14 ahead.
That lead became 44-42 at the end of the second, as Hurricanes enjoyed good spells of momentum.

Hide AdStorm began the second half in control of the game, extending their lead to eight points which soon improved further with three pointers from Tra’Michael Moton and Matt Ellis. It was a good defensive performance as Storm gave up only 15 points go into the final quarter with a 66-57 lead.
A 10-0 scoring run to start the fourth period kept the home side in control of the encounter, and despite Bristol attempts to build any runs of their own, Storm were able to break the runs up successfully.
In particular, performances from Darien Nelson-Henry, who registered a double double, Sam Newman, and Moton were impressive in the final quarter, playing an integral role in ensuring the victory.
Storm go to Loughborough this weekend.
