Competing in the Open French National Masters Championships, Foskett won an impressive haul of five medals: two silvers in the 100m backstroke and 100m IM, and three bronzes in the 50m backstroke, 100m butterfly and 200m IM.

All the times achieved were also personal bests.

Foskett, who lives in Berkhamsted is a member of Hemel Hempstead Swimming Club, said: “It feels good to be competitive again, but the real pleasure has come from training with a really sociable and dedicated group of masters swimmers.”
