Luke leads the way for Tring Running Club

Luke Delderfield was the star man for Tring Running Club as they tackled the notorious Beachy Head off road marathon.

Delderfield finished fourth overall in a time of 3:02:37.15 – just seven minutes behind the winner.

Tom Sawyer was next home for the club in 69th place in 3:44:28.85, while Verna Burgess was 34th female runner home in 4:15:26.35.

Other runners to finish in the top-1,000 overall for Tring were Andrzej Bojarski, Howard Clark, Andy Neill, Sean Gregory, Paul Payley, Peter Alford, Craig Thomas, Peter Hamson, Anthony Kent, Geoff Head, Maria Kerr, Simon Jessop, Colin Jeffs, Tony Hill and David Sawyer.
