Impressive Stags trio are named in the Team of the Week

The talented Brown had an excellent match throughout, and apart from his two first half tries the Yorkshire-born centre also made a lung-busting run from one end of the field to the other as the All Golds threatened to make a comeback midway through the second half.

Every week each coach in the Kingstone Press Championship One is contacted to help put the awards together and the Stags’ Dom Maloney and on-loan Stephen Bannister also feature in the Team of the week for their outstanding contribution to Sunday’s victory.

Congratulations to the three players and indeed all of the remaining members of the squad who contributed to a crucial win that saw Hemel leapfrog the All Golds in the table and set up the very real possibility of a trip to Gateshead Thunder in the first round of the playoffs over the weekend of September 13/14.
