For the U7s, the Tring Lions took second place overall, while the Tring Cheetahs also put in a strong performance in tough, muddy conditions.

The Cheetahs had a great start, beating Old Albanians in the first match, but they were unlucky with their other results, losing by a point here and there.

The Lions, meanwhile, had a fantastic tournament, showing great enthusiasm and supporting each other well.

The team had a tight 8-7 victory against OAs in their first fixture, and that was followed by wins against Beaconsfield (9-4) and A&C (5-4).

A narrow 9-8 defeat against a strong Maidenhead side, who scored the winning try on the final whistle, did nothing to cloud a superb all round Tring performance.

The final game against Ruislip ended with Tring triumphantly scoring six tries in the second half to win 10-5.
