A lively dance performance by West Herts College students got things started and presentations by each of the colleges inspired the competitors. Play followed from 10.30am to 2.30pm and the event ended with a closing ceremony that celebrated the day of sport.
The continued success of the Games is down to effective partnerships between the four colleges, the National Governing Bodies of Sport involved and the massive team of Hertfordshire volunteers from across the county. The Herts Sports and Physical Activity Partnership (HSP) funds and coordinates the Games with these partners.
Jane Shewring, the HSP strategic lead for sport was really pleased with the success of the day and thanked everyone involved in making such a fantastic day of sport possible.
