Hot-shot Marsden does the double at Little Hay

On Saturday, Chris Marsden won the Business Ladies’ March Medal with a nett 68. Elaine Meagher was second with a nett 73 and Caroline Banks finished third with a nett 81.

On Monday, in extremely windy conditions, Marsden also won the Ladies’ March Medal with a nett 72. Dorcas Kindinger was second with a nett 77 and Elaine Meagher third with a nett 78.

Meanwhile, the Seniors’ March Medal was won by Mick Milne with a nett 67. Sylv Nolan was in second place on count-back, and Ron Goodfellow took third, also on count-back

On Saturday, Division One of the March Medal – which also acted as the first qualifying competition of the 2015 season – was won by Matt Armstrong with a nett 70.

Nick Jefferson was second with a nett 74 on count-back, with Craig Peterson in third.

Division Two was won Nigel Hopkinson with a nett 70; Jim Morris was second with a nett 76 on count-back, with Colin Staines finishing third.
