Teams have returned to football after the extended third lockdown, in a shortened end-of-season finale.

Both Divisions will be decided on a points per game basis, with most teams playing each other team once, plus a cup competition for each division.

We now have new leaders, as Caddington won in a very tight game away at Langleybury Cricket Club, 3-2. The visitors were slow starters, with Langleybury taking the lead after a defensive mix up but equalised when Mitchell Chaney scored from a corner. Calum Cornish then scored early after the break, to put Caddington 2-1 up but Langleybury looked dangerous on the break and soon equalised. In a close finish it was Kai Gardner who grabbed the all important winner for Caddington. Coupled with beating Hunton Bridge at home the previous Saturday, they are now 1 point clear at the top and will take the title if they win their last game in two weeks time.

The Engineer Harpenden are now ousted from the top spot, having been there all season, despite recording a strong 4-0 away win at Potten End, who were somewhat understrength. Colin Armsby, David Keenleyside, Ben Warren and an OG were the scorers for Engineer, with James Hardy their player of the Match.

Kings Sports extend their unbeaten run to four games with a very close and competitive game against new boys, Apsley Argyle. In an end to end first half, chances were limited with both defences on top. However, Kings did take the lead after around 30 minutes, when a shot was handled in the box and Reece Canning calmly scored from the spot. Kings had a couple of good opportunities soon after the break but then Apsley began to up the tempo and eventually equalised with a goal from Joe Turberfield. As both teams sought the winner, Apsley hit the post and, with just 3 minutes left, a great back post-cross from Curtis Donaldson found Joe Curran free to head home. Despite a few last minute corners, Apsley couldn’t find the equaliser, as Kings came away with a hard earned 2-1 win.

West Herts Senior Cup - Pool A

Croxley Community gained a very hard earned 2-0 win over the youthful Croxley Green, in this local derby. Green had much of the play but Community scored early on and fought strongly to hold on. They eventually got a second at the very end, again on the break, to take poll position in Pool A and just need to win their second pool game to reach the Semis. Ian Lang and Dominic Barnard scored for Community.

Chesham United Generals, with a 2-2 draw, climbed back to the top, after gaining a hard earned point against Chipperfield Corinthians 'A' but they had to rely on an 89th equaliser from Archie Batts. Joe Baldwin had scored their earlier goal. Andrew Rogers and Dan Perman got the goals for Chipperfield, who remain in 3rd place.

Croxley Community Reserves retain 2nd spot, despite losing 5-2 away at Hemel Hempstead Rovers 'A', who remain 5th in the Table. Croxley missed a lot of good chances, with Ellis North taking full advantage, as he bagged a hat-trick for Rovers. Mark Stoker and Ross Gardner scored their other goals. Harry Brock got the two goals for Community.

Global AFC are now in 4th spot after a hard earned win against Oxhey Academy. Brett Whitehead scored their solitary goal.

Mid table duo, Sun Sports Rovers and Rio Rovers played out a highly entertaining 3-3 draw. Scorers for Sun were Glen Cook, Alex Halifax and Billy James Blake, whilst Emmanuel Yeboah(2) and Aaron Crawford grabbed the Rio goals.
